Harebrained Schemes began making games in 2011, releasing Crimson Steam Pirates and Strikefleet Omega on mobile, and then focused on PC games which combined tactical gameplay with nuanced and engaging stories: Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Dragonfall, Shadowrun Hong Kong and BATTLETECH. Our newest adventure, The Lamplighters League, is coming in 2023. In 2018, after working with Paradox Interactive as our publisher for BATTLETECH, Harebrained Schemes officially joined Paradox as a fully owned subsidiary studio.
